3. Joseph Albers, The Interaction of Color
4. "Physiotypia plantarum austriacarum", von Constantin von Ettingshausen und Alois Pokorny.
Published in 1855. Prints made by pressing botanical specimens into lead plates.
5. Early engraved maps of North Carolina
6. Giovanni Gallucci’s Italian translation of Albrecht Dürer’s “Four Books on Human Proportions” from 1591, with full woodcut illustrations copied from Vier Bücher von menschlicher Proportion by Dürer, originally published posthumously in German in 1528.
7. à la poupée illustrations. “American medical botany” by Jacob Bigelow from 1817 - prints that used multiple colors of ink used on the same print run.
